Accumulo di metalli pesanti

Un aspetto che potrebbe essere preso in considerazione è l'accumulo di metalli presenti nel suolo, ovvero negli ecosistemi e negli organismi viventi. Quando si verifica, il bioaccumulo può causare problematiche a lungo termine. Gli effetti combinati di tossicità acuta e bioaccumulo possono portare a cambiamenti negli ecosistemi e a una ridotta biodiversità.
